We recently shifted from Delhi to Chennai and as we had bought a brand new car so we were looking for a reliable car mover for the same. We decided to go with the best name in market and so hired Agarwal Packers/DRS logistics. They took Rs 13, 750 for transferring our car and alongwith Rs 500 as petrol money for minor movements of car. They had anticipated that car will reach Chennai in around 12-15 days.
Last to last tuesday they took the car from Gurgaon for delivery. As it was a brand new car with barely 220 kms run, we were very anxious for the safety of the car. After the consignment started, I tried to check the online status of my car, but to my dismay, it was nowhere to be found. I dropped them an email asking the status of my car.as where it has reached but they did not reply.
But once we called them on phone, we got the status details and the tentaive time when it would reach Chennai.
Meanwhile, I glimpsed through some of the reviews here on MS, and to my horror all were negative.I got really worried and was fully expecting that my car too will come in soem damaged condition/scratches.
Yesterday my car got delivererd to me.after 12 days of delivery from gurgaon and to my surprise it is in a scratchless condition with no damage whatsoever. The km reading stands at 320 kms.i.e 100 additional km.as they had mentioned initially that they the car can be run for arnd 100-150 kms for some movement during delivery.
We only faced a couple of glitches in the entire process:
Though we had paid them Rs 500 as petrol money but still our car had absolutely no petrol when it was delivered to us. But as we were anyways happy to get the car in a decent condition so we dint complain on this.
We were not able to track the movement online.which they claim on their website. Similarly, no response to email for status enquiry.
Other than this, our experience was good and we would be happy to avail their services again in future. Though I have heard that thye are a bit expensiv than other carriers. But I guess in matters such as these, one should not compromise on quality.:)
