I had made an international shipping from Bangalore to Berlin in November end.


I had cleared payment in full(INR 75, 000) December end for my shipment and was promised delivery within one week.


The bill number on the invoice generated by Agarwal is INBLBNG000524 and the tracking number from UPS Berlin is 1ZX0X3250451894552.


I was inconvenienced multiple times, because I was asked to make multiple calls to UPS because the address I had handed over to Agarwal Packers & movers(exactly 3 times over phone and email) was incomplete.


I would like to know as to why Agarwal Packers & movers failed to hand over the exact address when I had written it across multiple e-mails. How difficult is it to copy paste an address?


if this was not harassment enough, my shipment still has not been delivered.


UPS themselves fixed the time of delivery before 11 am one day. I had to stay back, because I was waiting on my stuff. When I called them at 11, I was told that they needed some documents for customs.


I was asked to fill some 6 form for customs, which was in German. Why was this not filled up by Agarwal Packers & movers in the first place? It took me 2 hours to sit and translate everything from German to english!


Why was I not informed earlier, that my shipment will not reach that day? Is customers time taken for granted? Is it not your responsibility to ensure that my shipment reaches me conveniently, or do you prefer to forget customers after accepting payment in full?


I was again informed that my shipment would reach me this morning, I again took a half day off from work. I was at home, waiting for my stuff, when I got an email saying that recipient was not available hence delivery was not made.


Maybe you do not realize how difficult it is, to survive without your luggage in another country. It was not like I was informed that I will have to survive without my stuff for a month, I would have been prepared had that been the case. I am literally having to survive on one weeks worth of luggage.


After this when I started getting ready for office, I got an angry phone call from the India office, and your agent ‘Murali Balasubramanian’ from Bangalore, was on the line. He was shouting at me in the loudest tone that I have every heard. He was threatening to send my luggage back to India if I do not receive it today. When I asked what time would it be delivered, he said he could not give a time, and I have to make myself available for the entire day. After this, he hung up on me.


I had opted for Agarwal Packers & movers thinking that your services are premium, but I am sorry to say that I am highly disappointed. Mismanaged delivery is one thing, you have no right to talk to customers like they are your servants. I paid INR 75, 000 to you for my international shipping and INR 35, 000 to you for another domestic shipping. You could not even coordinate a simple delivery to my house. On the contrary, had the audacity to yell at me and then hang up on me. Murali’s tone was only short of abuses, other than that he was talking to me like a goon. Do your agents take liberties in venting out their frustration on women in particular, by trying to yell at them and intimidate them? These definitely are not the kind of services I paid for!


In short, I had to take two half days off from work, make a couple international calls to India, and waste a couple hours here to fill customs forms and to try to coordinate with UPS. I was promised delivery within a week, which has now taken up an entire month. In the end, I got humiliated at the hands of some uncouth agent.


I have repeatedly, in my previous emails, been asking for somebody senior whom I can escalate this to, but all of none of your agents are handing over the contact of the India head in charge.


Do you only follow up with customers till the time you pocket their money, and after that conveniently forget about the services that you have been paid for? Do your agents start taking liberties to humiliate customers after the payment has been made in full?


This is a sheer disgrace, I feel, where you claim that customer satisfaction is priority for you, because it clearly isn't. It is really shameful that you hire goons like these to handle services for you! These callous services are definitely not worthy of the amount that you charge.
