We were shifting locally in Pune, and availed this Service, The Company name - Agarwal Pack n Move Pvt Ltd( GRS Group), they are based in Akurdi in Pune. When the Company representative came to canvas his company product he was very kind, understanding claiming that we would only choose his company for our next Shift... So looking at the prospect, we went ahead with their service inspite of them being costly (for a distance of 300 mts they charged 5800/-).
The local ones quoted a max of 2000 for the same, but thinking they would do a good job we opted for them (as we've had bad experiences in the past hiring local dealers ).
They were very prompt in getting the date fixed, and coming to start the job on the date we said, although they came an hour late. When we saw the size of the van they bought , it could no where hold all our things in one shot, on asking them , they replied they would do 2 rounds and get it done (please never accept this deal of 2 trips, where they should bring a big VAN and take everything in 1 shot). We were initially hesitant, then said OK as we had no other choice, the packing took almost 3 to 4 hrs and they finally shifted the whole stuff by 7pm to the new place.
And then they started asking me if unpacking had to be done the same day itself, I was like Of Course! We had paid them for packing, unpacking and keeping the things in the place. They did not look intrested to do the unpacking so I asked them what if they had to do it the next day, they said we had to pay them more! So we were already tired by the end of the day and they finally unpacked and left things were they should be, and then asked for payment, We had specifically asked Mr Ajay Chaudhary (Sales Executive for GRS Group- Pune) that we would do the payment by Credit Card, and suddenly he turned the plate that the POS machine was not working well so we have to pay by CASH, We strongly denied and asked him to come the next day. So when we called Mr Ajay Chaudhary(AC) for the payment and we also needed to give him a review of the work his boys had done, He suddenly became harsh, and started speaking unwanted things over the phone, I was wondering what ever happened to his gentleman spirit that he displayed when he came to canvas his product to US. Finally he sent another guy and this guy comes claiming he is Ajay chaudhary(AC), I would say heights of how someone can LIE! And finally we told this AC (claiming to be) all the concerns and he is like Ok Sir, You talk to our manager and he puts us on the phone with some Manager, he keeps listening and then finally apologizes. But I still wonder if they really meant what all they said! I would never go for their service again, Lesson well learnt!
