I wanted to transport my bike from Pune to Bangalore. I had earlier used Agarwal Packers & Movers (the DRS group one) but did not have their contact number. So I tried calling just dial and got a number for Agarwal Packers and Movers.
I called the Pune office on 020 65105604. and stated my requirement. They were ready to do a door to door delivery so I was elated. The person came to pick up my vehicle and this was the start of my ordeal. I asked where is your tempo to shift my vehicle to that he replied to we will drive your vehicle till our godown and then put it in tempo! This was Lie # 1.
Then he made a receipt then I could see this is not the "Agarwal Packers and Movers" this is a fraud company under name "Agarwal Express." I asked him is this the same "Agarwal Packers and Movers" to that he said yes, we are the transport wing of that company!!!
They promised to deliver my bike within 4 days to B'Lore. As promised I did get a call from their person on 4th day saying bike has reached B'lore and asked my exact house location. I received this call on 12/11/13 so i was expecting to get my bike on 13/11/13. But it did not happen. Then I started making calls to their B'lore office on 080 41160221 and 9632433261 and I only got false assurances that bike will be delivered in next couple of hours. This continued till 16/11/13 when I really lost my cool.
To my phone calls, I got a reply from the B'lore office person (Hindi speaking person by Name Narayan Singh and his boss Mr Ram Gopal Singh) located in Yeshwantpur that "Go to hell I will not deliver your bike. Come to Neelmangala godown and collect it".
To this I really lost my cool and started blasting him left and right and threatened him that if I do not get a delivery by 10 am next day I will report to the Police! I also told them that i am a local Kannadiga and not a northie and blessed them with my choicest Kannada abuses. I think that worked and next day morning 10:15 they delivered me my bike!.
Points to note that they had charged me with packing charges, but had not packed the vehicle. They were very very arrogant. No customer service at all. and Above all they are cheaters and fraudsters. Please do not trust them and do not use them for your transport related services. I would say if there is minus rating I would be very happy to give that !
