Usually whenever you will read some sort of love stories you will kind of guess or know that this is a love story by its cover, appearance or whatever; but not with this book you won't be able to understand under which genre it comes if it lies in a store. I was not able to guess that but now I have completed reading the book and excited to tell you all about the book.
Story:
This story basically revolves around the female protagonist named Lavanya Suryawanshi who resides in new york and works for a company named PSM where by going late on the very first day she has a bad impression on her mentor for whom she works day and night just to improve her image. One day her blood test reports came and she discovered that she has HIV after which she quits her job and returns back to India after 7 long years.
Now the second lead character is Shourya Kapoor whose ex-girlfriend is now in relation with his only room mate which is the thing he cannot digest apart from the fact that he loves his girl so much to sacrifice his dream of getting into Harvard after he gets a call from there as she gets a call from Berley's University which is offering them both. One day he discovers that his girl Deepti was in love with his room mate Avik and his life is hell struck. He goes back to India for his little sister Shreela's marriage.
Now back in Lavanya's life when she returns back to India in Delhi she faces problem in initiating a conversation with her parents initially but then her awkwardness reduces but only with her mother. She visits a shopping complex to pass her time but meets shourya over there her childhood friend.
They spend a lot of time together and agrees to help each other in their works as for lavanya she wishes to complete her to-do list before dying and for shourya to get over with deepti. They help each other with their things. They spent lots and lots of time together and before it was too late gets to know that they were in love with each other for so many years after the confrontation of shourya before his sisters bidaayi.
lavanya blames her father for everything she faced a problem in her life like getting bullied from her school friends due to her fathers affair with her science teacher mrs dey. after which she decided to move on with her life by running away from India. And now she is back after 7 years.
After all this time she goes on some trips with shourya and during their stay at goa they confesses their love for each other but shourya being confused between deepti and her goes back their for a confrontation session with deepti but realizes that he is very much in love with lavanya.
Here lavanya gains some courage and tells her parents about her disease. After which she goes to see shourya. And then they get married being her regular treatment of HIV going on.
