I went to this center sme 2 years back and nw I am the mother of a 1 year old. I had a stage 2-3 endometriosis and had done a laproscopy in another center before moving to AFC.There are many positive things and also many negative things which I felt about center.(as I ahd gone to many other center's also). Dr Nirmala is good but she wants only her to do the talking and when we aks any questions her tone changes.
I felt that she remember her patients and once or twice I remember her calling my name when I enter the room .Good thing is that she recommends us to do all the testing before suggesting a treatment . She's very sure in what she do and when she says that you have to go for an ivf then it does mean that we have to go for it. And she wont give any false hope. I have seen other doctors taking our problem lightly and giving assurances but nothing will happen.. The other doctor Manjunath is very good is that what we felt, atleast we cud talk to him freely and can gets our doubts clarified. But we had a horrible experience wit Dr Akhila (radiologgist) who is all the time irritated and angry and bark at us for sme minute things.
Atleast she cud think that people are coming there emotionally upset and can treat us like humans and not dogs . The staff is really good especially the receptionist(grey haired lady) as she will always smile and make us feel good .The nurses (especially athira) is also good as they try to take injections and all with much care. Last but not the least I would like to tell that after getting pregnant the center treats you like a queen..u can see the care the staff and all others will give you and evn the doctor seems to be happy that you have conceived. For me luck has played its part and so felt the center is good for me.
