I own a Hyundai i20. I have Advaith service center on ITPL Road near Brookefields which is close to my residence. Since it is near, I tend to service my car from them. 4 out of 5 times I have serviced my car from there, I have been very disappointed. Below are the incidents -
The cleaning up of interiors is not good although they charge quite a bit for it.
Once I had issue while changing gears, they assured to resolve it. I had taken the car for second time after servicing and they did something and told me that it was resolved. I had to take it for the third time and surprisingly, they just discharged my car telling that it has been resolved. Only after repeatedly complaining to them, they finally sent one engineer and resolved it.
I had some issue when the car started making some engine noise at normal speed. I took it to them for servicing and was again told the issue has been resolved. After taking 2-3 times, they finally changed the spark plug stating that spark plug was damaged. They didn't charge me stating that they had a spare one. I am not sure why wouldn't they charge me. I don't know if they simply picked it up from different car.
Another time, I took the car for servicing and told them that it wobbles. They said they will take care of it, they charged me for wheel alignment and lot of other stuff for over Rs. 7k. I told them about earlier incidents and told them that it is difficult to keep bringing the car to the service center again and again.
Also, when they were charging for this service, the person said that they have not charged for coolant as there was no need; however, while explaining the charges he said that he forgot and have used new coolant to top up. Couple of things also seemed missing whenever I have given the car to service it there.
As usual, after servicing the issue was not resolved. The net result, I felt that the car quality seemed to have been deteriorated. The cleaning was not done correctly either. I complained and it took them over a month to resolve it only to find that it was not resolved completely!! All they did was to rotate the tyres. I am actually wondering if I should change my car as I find it difficult to take it to other service centers which are far from where I stay.
I am not sure if it Hyundai folks who do not provide good service or is it Advaith folks who are not interested to provide good service despite complaining several times.
