I bought a brand new Hyundai i20 with great experience with Sales persona at Trident Hyundai Indiranagar, Bangalore. After sometime got a scratch which I asked trident Hyundai service center Domlur, bangalore to remove during my first free servicing. They took 2 weeks and ran my vehicle around 100 kms during this ( on my petrol). While picking up the vehicle I noticed there is fresh scratches on different side of the car, the person there asked me to leave the vehicle and they would rectify this as well, again after a week when I took my car in jiffy on that day, later I realized that the surface of the car has become rough now.
I called the service center again and told the same problem they took the car again and it took 3 times up and down to rectify the same at 80% quality. Then again I realized that my AC is not working I called them again they told me to come whenever I am free, went there again and they asked it to be done separately and I have to pay from my pocket, I called their supervisor and told complete history and that guy then took some responsibility and got AC working in another 2 weeks with AC currently working 80% efficiency compared to last time (I can feel but can’t proof this).
So with this completed 150 kms for servicing issues, around 5 weeks my car in garage in first 5 months of my car(which converts to 25% time spent in garage after car delivery). Unfortunately this was completely annoying and devastating experience for a first time car owner with high EMIs. I am not sure how Hyundai is tracking service quality though sales was too good compared to other companies.
I would recommend Trident Hyundai for buying car but not for servicing.
