Its about a week since I have bought my new Hyundai Getz (GSL), and I must say the vehicle is simply great. Let me not go into the details of the vehicle, as there are tons of reviews already available on this forum.
I got the vehicle from Advaith Hyundai Bangalore, people I must tell you, Do not trust these guys, I don’t know if every dealer of every company are like this, but what happened to me from these guys was very shocking.
Initially I was promised a tape player free of cost from these guys when I was in talking to them about buying a car. Later on I made it very clear that I would prefer a CD/MP3 player instead of a tape player…yes they did oblige to give me one but I had to pay a small difference and that was ok with me. Finally I got the car and with a Sony Xplod 5510 CDX system with four speakers. I was just not happy with the system as it was jarring beyond the 6th unit of volume and it just could not match the impedance. I made a complaint and I was asked to take the car to the workshop.
Once inside the workshop they opened all the speakers (I insisted that I need to be present while they do that) and what I saw was shocking, they had given me four third-rate local cheap imitation of a Sony Xplod speaker. Lucky I was in a position to make out the difference. Later on they replaced the duplicate speakers with the original ones. The difference after this in the sound quality was astonishing.
What really irritates me is that these guys fail to understand that we pay so much for a good car and to make few hundreds of rupees they cheat their customers. Its really really sad. People, my sincere advise is to be extremely careful with these guys, maybe all dealers are like this. Please be on your guard. Its your hard earned money, make sure you are happy paying for whatever you are paying for. Cross check, double cross check and triple cross check. These guys are crooks.
