I had taken the policy at 2006, I am paying 30000 as yearly premium for the policy, but my current Policy net worth is only 94000. I expected 20% return from the policy. But I feel the policy is slightly under performing.
Pros:
Excellent web tool they have, u can view the policy status and the fund allocation, I rarely call Customer service to any of the details. I feel customer service is also good. In my case, I need amount of 50000 urgently, so asked for partial withdrawal to customer care, what they said you cannot get 50000, you will get 20000 as your withdrawal limit. But then I thought of closing policy, but what they suggested is you can go for the loan. I replied to them, I need the amount within a week, after making the loan request they have credited the amount 50000 in to my account within 5 days. I was v v v happy
