My wife was getting regular treatment from Aditya Birla during her pregnancy(Dr Beena Kamath). The Dr was treating very well till the time the real need of doctor arose. I don’t remember the exact months now because its an year old case now.
Case 1=========
Patient: Dr .(some question related to growth of the baby)
Dr: Are you taking, this and that, almond and such and such thing in your diet regularly
Patient: No.
Dr: Why?….it is so necessary for the growth of the baby at this time.
(Conclusion: Why did the doctor telling her now when my wife has concerns, why not well before while she was under her treatment from very beginning
Case 2=========
Dr. Asked us to get the Triple test done, and she sent us to apx 15 km away for testing explaining why it should not be done in Aditya Birla hospital. We went there, the Dr that she recommended did not do the test explaining why it can not be done at this moment. We went back to Birla, again she sent us to other place somewhere around 20 km away to get the test done. We came with the test report after few days.
Dr:. oh this is under high risk. and we had to go for amniocentesis test.(Later on we came to know that the Triple test done in the week she was doing had no value, if this was the case why did she sent us here and there and wasted time and the specified time frame passed.) Probably it was a false positive. And it got confirmed in amniocentesis test that it was a false positive.
Case 3: =========
Dr kept us sending for sonography far away about 20 km and one fine day said the amniotic fluid level in the womb is down and my wife should be hospitalized for 3 days and she will put some saline and see the response. He aslo suggested that this is an alarming condition and my wife need to be treated with steroid injections to strengthen the lungs of the baby because it is 8th month and if it becomes the case of premature delivery, the baby may not survive.
We were scared and we rushed to Gupte hospital, Dr Gupte got the tests done with in his hospital and suggested us to wait. he observed the fluid level for few weeks and at last delivered a normal baby without operation.
Its good for getting treated in Aditya Birla, but if there are some complications and they suggest high-tech treatment, take second opinion of some reliable doctor.
