Adda52 : The Indian Poker "Cheat Site".

This site has been a stalwart in the Online poker in India. Numerous players have been playing the game since its inception and counting. The site offers various buy in tables on a big range. This is an advantage suited to the different sizes of bank rolls. I have been playing  poker on numerous sites and live games since 7 Years. The Basic advantage for Indian poker players would be :

1) Table buy in  - From INR 1 to INR 20000 (depends on table you choose)

2) Easy and Fair cash out services - Cheque, Electronic transfer facilities for cash outs (requests submitted on Mon, Tue, Fri are processed same day for electronic transfers)

3) Bonuses on Deposits - Various bonus schemes available for deposits, which may range upto 100% of your deposit

3) Satellite events to Premier tournaments in India - Adda organises the Online Satellite events for Premier tournaments like IPL and IPS, with fair no. of Guaranteed seats in these tourneys

4) Simple User Interface and even simpler graphics

5) Loyalty Points: Loyalty points system, sometimes the loyalty achieved during specific period can be rewarding in terms of free real cash bonus and entry to tournaments, which reward even better.

I have been Playing on this site since 5 months now (4~5 hours a day) and have accumulated massive loyalty and won few tournaments including satellite event to Goa IPL. I have tried to be informative and Just to the review here and would not be Judgemental of my bad experience at Adda. But, the Cons of playing on this site are listed below, based on my experience.

Why Adda seems to be a cheat:

1) Limited Legal information on the website.

2) Less exposure to the End users about the Team adda and their function, C'mon we are your customers and we need to know who/what/why of the Site.

3) Very Poor customer service - An online site which involves real money that too part Gambling and Part Strategy needs to be up and online 24*7 with a SLA (Service level Agreement) of 99.9% availability and should provide  numerous customer touch points..  why would I say this, look at the facts.

• Adda can be reached only by two means : email to admin (very late in responses), one UK based VoIP no. (seems to be a mobile no.to non informed users) functional only between 3~6 PM on weekdays. Though heavy traffic is there on weekends.

-  Tax Evaders : The Site is fully operational but still tagged as Beta and thus gives the owners to tag every mistake as "Oh ! the site is still beta." Please note that the earnings from a beta site are not taxed or poorly taxed.

-  High Rakes - Rake is a sum which is taken by the Host(Adda in this context) for allowing users to play. The Site takes a very high sum as rake for each hand and has very few rake back schemes (only 1 I have come across), that too with so many clauses. The beauty of Income lies here -

i) Deal hands to the players in such a way that most of them throw in their money on the table like they completely have a NUT (best in simple terms) hand. Adda Makes money.

ii) Rake is charged @ a fixed percentage irrespectivective of the size of pot

• OK. So you are Lucky, you won few hands and want to withdraw that extra cash from your Bank roll, another beauty of Adda52 cheaters. Ask any user if you don't believe me.

  
  




• The moment you cash out, Doomed - you will not get single good cards and even if you get someone will just get a good card or two on the community (Table) which will make you impossible to win, so you lose money and you loose your discipline and control and deplete your Bankroll and Buy REAL CASH. Best way to avoid this - I am only being suggestive, Try not to play for couple of days. (If you can stop the urge).

  
  

-  Information Disbursement : Very less information on the website. Particularly on tournaments, for example; ( OMG ! I have so many examples for so many things). You win a Satellite event, Good ! now try and get information about the next steps. you get an email, Please contact Mr. So and So. Teh organiser of the event. You call diligently, The Mr. does not answer your phone, why would he - he is "THE ORGANISER" you call back to adda. Sorry ! you have limited information on this. Bingo ! you are done.

• *Anti- Banking: The rules/Cool-off for Anti-Banking is very very slack. you have snitches popping in with minimum buy in on a table. do an all in you fold, they disappear with blinds. 2 Minutes they come back again, do the same circus, you are frustrated do a call, they HIT Bingo, Rest is history.

I could have written the whole world and list of my experience and their details but, perhaps for some other time.
