I would like to share with you all about my Interview Experience in Accenture. It all began on 12th of April 2013. I got a call from a consultancy to attend a interview at accenture on 14th of April 2013. I was apprehensive since the last interview I attended in spite of getting a mail of selection I was never called for further rounds. Nevertheless, as I really needed this job I went again for the interview. I landed in their premises at around 9:30. They took my CV and asked me to sit. Then the long wait period started. After sometime I come to know the interview is Telephonic since the panel is from Bangalore. Wow....This interview could have happened anytime on phone then why was the need to come to their office. But we job seekers cant really do anything expect to tolerate. I was called around around 2:00-2:30. The panel did ask really good questions. It went about for 40 minutes or so. After a wait for another 1 hour or so I was told that I am selected. They said this is going to a final round and their would be direct HR round. I was ecstatic and eagerly awaiting Monday. Then the real ordeal began......
These Accenture people are least bothered about anyone. They have taken everyone for granted. Nobody informs what's going on. After submission of documents, there is no news days together. One day they take PAN no, other day Passport No. Daily they negotiate for Notice Period. Was getting really fed up.
And yesterday, out of the blue, I get a call from a Accenture Person around 3:30 PM that I have another Technical Interview on phone at 4:30 PM. This was so random. No prior intimation no mailers nothing. I somehow convinced the person to call me at 5 pm. Such things are difficult to manage form office when managers are continuously monitoring you.
This person calls me at 5:30 pm. At the beginning of the Interview he insulted me. This completely brought my morale down. I become very nervous. I tried to answer his questions but I think he had decided to somehow show that I am not up to mark.....This was most unfair way. Maybe they just want to reject people.
On the 14th of April 2013, I had thought that I have got this job. But life has taken a unexpected turn...... I am yet to receive feedback of yesterday's interview....but I think I wont make it....
