you can find a team lead at 4.5 years of experience and the same designation can be bold by a person of 15 years work exp.
your promotion depends on too many other factors than your performance.
your performance is given the least weightage.
if you are in good books of ur supervisor then its good, otherwise u shud have a God father. if you don't have both, then forget promotion and onsite
it actually has a direct impact on your salary.
