Academy of Technology is a college situated at adisaptagram, hoogly. I am a student of this college. No doubt it is one of the best private engineering colleges in west Bengal. The vision of our college is "to be a pre eminent deemed university of national standing in education and innovation". When it comes to the question how's the education system here?
It is no doubt excellent.The faculties are really very good and labs, instruments and infrastructure is really great.Here every professor is very serious about the study, labs, assignments, internal marks. Moreover A.O.T is the only college in eastern India to built a innovation centre in collaboration with Google. The lush green campus of this college, spread over an area of 10.66 acres which includes a beautiful pond in the centre, a football ground, a volleyball court, a cricket ground, and a canteen.
There are several cultural events held every year:
1)Arcadia, 2)Tech Fiesta, 3)Freshers, 4)Saraswati Puja, 5)Biswakarma Puja.
After all of this it comes to the point of placements. This college has been accredited by capgemini, Tata consultancy services(TCS), Tech Mahindra, and Wipro. Total 54 ITs and core engineering companies have already recruited 86.97% students from 2016 batch till date. The avarage salary here is about 3.52 Lacks per annum.
