I went to abu dhabi in may and june of 2005 and it has been the best holiday I have had yet! We flow out with etihad airways from gatwick on EY308. The best flight I have ever been on! when we landed we got a 45 min taxi for about £15.00! in a merc! (amazed) when we reached our hotel le merdian we were amazed! it was a perfect hotel. the pool was lush! the room was nicely furnised - LCD tv, big double beds, big shower and bath. the breakfast was out of this world fresh fruits, full english breakfast and lots more! The city is amazing and so cheap! we brought real DVDS for £2.00 and bck in england they were £15.99! GREAT! also taxis are so cheap. the best hotel is the emirates palace and the le merdian! stay in them both. the beaches in abu dhbai arent the best but in our hotel we had a man made private beach. Abu dhabi is an amzing city and anyone will like it! all the people we know who have been there love it! one even gave up work to live there and become a stewrdess! GO TO ABU DHABI!
