There I was in the between-fragrances phase when I bumped into Absolutely Givenchy.
I'd never tried anything Givenchy before, so took a sniff-test. To be frank , the packaging did nothing for me...the pink and the green, though, appealing, weren't really my thing as also the bottle shape - too square and regular. Lets just say its too solidly built for the 'uplifting' fragrance it contains.
Ah, but the fragrance! Very very fresh. You need spritz on just a bit and it stays on you for hours. A lovely floral bouquet that doesn't come on too strong and yet, leaves an imprint. It can be used day or night - though it might not be really heavy enough for formal occasions at night, which is when you need to bring out the likes of Chanel No. 5 (another absolute favourite!)
I would definitely recommend this perfume. Try it, stay fragrant and feel good about yourself!
