Born on 11 february 1976,a gonna be shining personality of the era,who would completely stand by his own name in the industry and withstand the shine of the well known superstar amitabh bachchan was Abhi or well known as abhishek bachchan.the heart throb of the nation, the sexiest persona of the industry with his carefree attitude rings up feelings of nearly every girl.
With an already gifted height of 6 ft 1'', he emerges out to be the real stud after a phase of initial no so well working movies such as ''dhai aksar prem ke'',with aishwarya.
Abhishek initially did not had good notions about himself as he commented ''I have a bad voice, my diction is not right and my eyes lack intensity’’ but suddenly the coin flipped all over and he could be seen with big sunglasses on his unshaven face, a bit unbuttoned shirt, wearing a care free attitude,walking with style with suddenly a huge intensity in his eyes.how......how???just his damn good confidence.i like that abhishek...ha???
He began schooling at Bombay Scottish School,continued at Jamnabhai and finished studying at Aiglon School in Switzerland

He took a lot of wrong movies and this contained ''haan maine bhi pyar kiya'' which had Soulful music, a competent director and succesful co stars. Everyone thought that this was it. Finally, his first hit movie had arrived. However, after it released this movie was slaughtered by the critics and somewhat rightfully so. A very weak script and not handled with the sensitivity that it deserved. However, this movie chartered a change in Abhishek’s performance. This was an excellent performance and by this time more and more people were sitting up and taking account of him. However, this movie too had bombed at the box office.
Om Jai Jagdish & Shararat,Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon,Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost and Kuch Na Kaho,Zameen and LOC,Run were just few of his wrong choices where he proved to be no more than just an add to the list.
Lallan,the best work I have ever seen from this budding superstar. Given the best role and performed so well in the movie by Mani Ratnam ,Abhishek did full justice to it. His presence of pure evil was even charismatic in a noir sense. His portrayal of the youth gone wrong was simply superb. A rebel without a cause living for money, Abhishek’s performance was the perfect combination of a dark persona and evil presence.
Although this movie failed at the box office, this proved to be a major turning point in his career. His best performance till then, Abhishek Bachan had truly arrived and how.
The DHOooooooooOM stuff:-
In Dhoom he did well and overdriven the expectations. However, his characterisation was weaker developed than the other two. Nevertheless, it was a sincere performance and Dhoom became his first hit, actually his first superhit. The wait was over and ironically Dhoom, which was a multi starrer with a somewhat poor script, became a superhit.
Bunti aur Bubli:-
this man was promising a lot in the near future and was doing a good working stuff in the backgrounds of the term.he made very good justice with the character of rakesh,from fursat ganj and was prised for his performance everywhere.
his special appearance in Hum Tum made people stand up and gave him a round of applause in even that small role. The guy surely deserved that motivation and he continued his good run with Yuva, the role of his life...the DIFFerence maker where his Lallan became an idol all over.
His detractors could only envy him for that performance . Then it was a matter of time only...3 months later Dhoom became his maiden success effortlessly and that was all that remained. His detractors could only say that John stole the show but the fact is Abhi got what he needed---a hit. Phir Milenge and Naach were flops but he stole the show in both and forced Antara Mali types into direction and run for their money!he had beed not so good starter to say.....but he climbed a lot on his own and he stands where he made himself deserve to.
hats off to the man who changed himself in others eyes and above all in his own eyes.
