Abhinav Bharati High School is one of the reputed schools uder CBSE board of Kolkata. Located is the aristocrat Pretoria Street, this school is a favorite destinations for many bright and young kids.
This school starts from Montessori classes and a student can complete his 10+2 study from this place. So, it is a place covering a vast age group from 2 to 18.
Abhinav Bhartati is the first Montessori school of kolkata which was established in the year 1945, that is, before independence. So, this school carries an historical legacy with it. The school was upgraded to class X school in the year 1989 and 4 years after that higher secondary courses were started.
So, it is not that old in age if you consider secondary and higher secondary education, but it was a reputed senior basic school( up to standard 8th) for a long time. I had couple of friends in my senior secondary who passed class 8th from this school. and most of them were brilliant in studies.
Now, my niece is a student of this school and she is doing quite well. This school follows excellent academic curriculum as well as extra curricular activities.
Teacher are really devoted and dedicated to the welfare of students. This school is a famous Montessori school and takes pride in one the best and largest fully air conditional Montessori Halls for the kids. I once got a chance to visit this hall and it is really a great place for kids with so many colors and all exciting learning tools for them.
Apart, the famous auditorium Gyan Manch, used for several workshop, seminar etc in a regular basis, also belongs to this school. I had visited this auditorium so many times. It is a fully A/C hall with around 400 seat capacity and large dais.
This school has an excellent infrastructure. Students gather in a full A/C assembly hall for daily prayer or for any special announcement.
Along with regular studies, students are alwyas encouraged to take sports seriously and this school has a massive play room for several windows game.
Overall, this school is already an established one and at the time of admission you can usually expect mad rush. as we faced when my niece got admitted.
