Aashiqui was released in 1990.directed by mahesh bhatt.the songs of the film slowly turned out to be chartbuster one after other.every song of the moovie spent most no. of weeks on the music charts than any other moovie before its time and after its time.hence, aashiqui music was declared a chartbuster.and certified multiple time platinum by recording association of india.itr stands at number one position in sales by any film music record in india.the film has 9 original songs and 3 songs which are covered in other singers voices like nitin mukesh and female version by anuradha paudwal who is lead female singer in the whole album.
every song has a melody attached to it.be it "aashiqui ke liye" or "dil ka aalam", the songs are directed musically by nadeem sharavan which were new at that time just like lead singer of the songs i.e. kumar sanu.the songs are made so beautifully that that it can give you chills up spine.the lyricist is sameer and has done a great job.the songs makes sense and go on with the flow.with the scenes in film.kumar sanu's voice is original melodious and touches your soul.the listener gets confused which song is the best of all.as all the songs are so beautifully made.

so hats off to legendary aahiqui team, I m in no position to review such a legendary ppl or talent they have, and its a thumbs up from my side.
