''Aanandham'' (meaning ''bliss'') is the apt title for this beautiful collection of delightful music. The very first song ''Nee Irangayenil'' is a amazing rendering of Atana Ragam and Unni has shown full commitment in rendering it at its best. I would have listened to it for more than 50-60 times and still it is the one of the favourite songs of my most admired singer Unni.
Another catch song of this album is the ''Unnai Allal'' in Simhendramadhyamum. Wow ! I heard this first time in a live concert by Unni in Chennai and nobody can match Unni in singing this well-written Tamil composition.
The main song -- ''Pankajaaksha''. I fell in love with 'Thodi' ragam only after hearing Unni performing Thodi alapanaas in concerts. Thodi is an amazing raagam and everybody can enjoy it and any time of the day.
''Kandu nee solla vendum'' - An involved singing, pleading lord Muruga takes us by all senses. Slow and a melodious song.
''Krishnam kalaya '' - One more to add to the beauty of the album.
In toto - This is one of the top rated albums of Unni according to me.
