At the end of the movie, a dialogue was said, that even after 63 years of independence, India is still not freed, from casteism. There are Brahmins, Jats, Muslims and every possible caste living in India, but no Indians. Yes, that's true, and that is what Aakrosh is all about. A perfect movie for a perfect viewer, and Priyadarshan has again proved his mettle by presenting us this movie on serious issue, and one of his best after Viraasat. With two great actors to support him, except fer directional glitches, the movie is simply awesome.

Story, has its base on the harsh reality of so-called Honour Killings, where the parents or community killed their own son/daughter in the name of religion, and what's their fault - simple, they love another community's boy/girl. There's a CBI enquiry been called, and a higher officer assigned to one of the case, where 3 college students are missing, after their trip to Jhanjhar. This CBI officer Siddhant Chaturvedi (Akshaye Khanna) is a man of laws, and wants to solve this mystery of lost boys, and he got an assistant Major Pratap Kumar (Ajay Devgn), the hot-minded ex-army man. Now, they have to enter the harsh territory where even the police, collectors, BDO's and every big personality is corrupted and supported goons, and this herd is headed by the corrupted Police inspector Ajatshatru Singh (Paresh Rawal), and then the game of chor-police started, and it get uglier as the movie progresses.

Let us talk about the brilliant performances given. Let us start with the great actor Paresh Rawal. He was awesome in the negative role of corrupted policemen, and looks perfectly fitting in the role. Then comes the hot-minded Ajay. We have seen him in Gangaajal, and same anger is here as well, and since he is the assistant, so he has to maintain some decorum, since his boss is going by the book. Akshaye Khanna, with his lost hair, looks perfect as a CBI officer, who has a tracl record of 2 high-profile cases and 6 convictions. He goes by the book, but in the end has to agree the wrong route of Ajay. Bipasha as Paresh's wife has done her role well, and Reema Sen as the wife of one victim look much better in acting than her. Movie started with a Dusshera special song "Ramkatha" sung by Sukhwinder Singh, and it depicts the mood of the film in the starting itself - the win of good over evil. Other songs include the classic song "Saude Baazi" sung by Javed Ali. Background score suits well to the scene. Let us talk about some dhaansu scenes. Following scenes stole the heart of the movie-goer, and increases the adrenaline rush.1. Starting scene of 3 guys and 1 girl running from Ramleela place2. Chasing of Nasbandi by Ajay Devgn3. Akshaye and Ajay attacked by Shool Sena, and then they are running for their lives and then shot back at them4. Chasing of the goon party by Ajay and Akshaye, when they captured Jamunia.4. Fighting between Ajay and Akshaye over morals5. Fooling of the weakest lead to make him the "sarkaari gawah"6. The beating of Paresh Rawal by Ajay Devgn, when all the CBI officers close the door and waiting outside.

Some directional loopholes are there, some scenes including - 1. When Akshaye was in the train and reached Jhanjhar, from inside it was shown that he was sitting in a general compartment, but he aloft from AC coach. 2. When Akshaye and Ajay follow Bipasha, they stopped the cars on left side of road, but from next scene, cars were shown at the right side. 3. The chasing scene of nasbandi by Ajay, have some glitches, when Ajay jumps over the roofs, it was somehow visible that he was helped by ropes to do that. 4. Ajay crossing the rails below a fast-moving train which was hard to digest.

Rest is fine, violence is there, but a dumdaarmovie for dusshera. Go watch it.
