India won the match against Pakistan. It was a great match. People celebrated the winning with great pomp. Indian team was in all praises
Minutes after India's victory AAJ TAK channel announced jackpot of Rs. one crore for the Indian Team if it brings the World Cup home.
AAJ TAK, a responsible channel, was not expected to announce such a huge amount of money for World cup atleast. Have they ever announced help for the Indian soldiers fighting for us on the boundary with the enemies.
Some figures that may shock us: An Indian air force flight leiutanant is paid Rs. 1200 flying allowance per month and he is supposed to make 40 sorties in aging Migs. That is about Rs. 25 per sortie after Taxes. If he dies his family gets paid Rs. 2 lakh. Whereas The Man of the Match in any World Cup team gets 3000 pounds, about Rs. 2.1 lakhs.
When flying over Kargil at 18000 ft the flight leiutenant is just 1000 ft above intruders armed with American stringer missiles and can easily be shot down. Yet, he does it. And for whom do they do this for?

I am not against cricket or Indian cricketers, but why undue importance to them who are most overpaid team.
India certainly has many more issues which needs monetary support from the community. Why not lend a helping hand to them? Why can't AAJ TAK announce a jackpot for them. Friends do you think this is fair?
We, the intelligent educated elite have failed this country.
The least Indian team can do is to send all the reward fees to the sections who really need this money.
