Lamhe is one of my favorite Yash Chopra films and this one comes in as a close second. Contrary to the (rubbish) recent releases from his banner this movie is what his banner used to be all about. The other reviewer has done a wonderful job summarizing the plot so won't get into it. But have to say the performances are wonderful...in particular by Jackie, Juhi, and Amrita. All portray their characters perfectly and help to make the movie very memorable. Juhi looks gorgeous after her makeover post-marriage to Jackie. I could not really digest the Amrita being glamorous bit because she is not-especially not when sharing the screen with a beautiful Juhi. The music is pretty good (come on it's Yash Raj afterall) but the only song that really sticks out to me is 'Yeh Raat Khush Naseeb'. Others may differ on this. Several scenes stick out to me in particular and are handled very well...

-the scene where Ravi (Jackie) goes and talks to Reema (Juhi) after Roma (Amrita) makes a harsh comment at the breakfast table

-the scene where after marriage Reema goes to Ravi's study and asks to borrow a book-she picks out one that has been gifted to Ravi from Roma---Ravi asks for the book from Reema and tears out the page that says (something like) To My Dear Ravi, Love Roma...and hands it over to Reema and tells her to surely read the book

-the scene where the movie director returns to try to get back Roma and Ravi comes by and makes a sarcastic remark

-the confrontation scene at the end of the movie between Ravi and Roma

All in all a must watch for anyone who enjoys good clean cinema with very nice acting and typical Yash Raj music supporting the plot.
