AVM Productions is one of the Pioneers in Entertainment Industry and the founder was recently honoured by Aussie Government by releasing a stamp on him.
Moreover AVM Group is supposed to be more customer centric and the one who could easily read the audience pulse and are considered to be a specialist in catering to the audience?s needs
Hence I thought, Movie experience at AVM Rajeswari - one of its entity , would be a pleasant one and one fine day, I stepped into the AVM premises.
Initially I was like awestruck at the AVM logo revolving at the AVM Studios , it still serves as the lighthouse for most of the cine stars and aspirants.
Then I slowly moved on to the ticket counter but some how I 'd a gut feeling that the situation appears to be similar.
And Yes, It was proved right - the management staff themselves were involved in selling Black tickets ( Somehow had my memories at Udhayam playing in the backdrop of my mind). Shock no -1. But yes, bought the ticket at Black rates as I was desperate to watch that movie.
When I entered the movie hall, an unpleasant Odour welcomed me - shock no :2; was like what the heck is that (The reason behind will be revealed in next few lines) - but some how was asked to be seated at the corner seat , was like fine and was about to be seated there.
Then I saw a pool of Vomit - uncleaned in the floor - shock no-3; I felt like throwing up and this was the reason behind shock no-2 and then called for the house keeping guys and he tuned out with a bedi (lighted) and he seemed to be fascinated by the prospect of creating smokey circles shock no-4
I felt sick and went to the rest room and got another shock no-5, let me not describe it.
and then cursing my staunch liking to watch that movie stepped into the movie hall again, and thanks to my effort the floor was cleaned and was about to be seated in my seat then to my horror saw the seat handle and the adjacent wall coated with jets of pan spits - shock no-6,
Again begged for the house keeping guys assistance he was like surprised by my request and too my dismay not only my seat all the corner seat and the wall were having extra coating from these spits. Shock no-7
And after further cleaning , I was seated at my place - thanks to my die hard movie spirits then the movie started ,then was suddenly feeling like I was sweating just like anything and that was true - I was sweating just like anything - sweating in Air conditioned hall - yes - the A/c had been switched off - shock no-8
and then the song came, which was supposed to be a chart buster and had good synthesized beat but I was feeling like listening to mono speakers and yes the Surround speakers ( supposed to be DTS / Dolby ) were not functioning - Shock no-9
Then the interval came and rushed to have a fresh air.Instead I was welcomed by dense smoke clouds ( my mind was revisiting Udhayam complex) and again rushed to be seat and to my dismay within this short span of time there was again a fresh pool of vomit -
I felt like that was the limit and left the theatre and returned home.
Yet another worst movie experience.
