Hi Guys . I just recently bought ACT Fibernet . I am very happy with it. I got so much problem to get this internet connection.


1st time I heard about this internet, I just ignored because I thought it wouldnt be available in my area.


After few weeks I saw people putting cables in my lane . When me and my dad asked what company they were, they said they were ACT.


So we called the call center people( Toll Free) and they said that my area is not having the connection.


So I got very pissed because I saw them installing the cables.


So I told them to send a person to check if my lane has the connection and I waited for 2 weeks and nobody came.


I tried calling them again they said its not available .


So I decided to buy Airtel but that connection wasnt in my lane.


So I was very sad and pissed.


So I waited patiently and soon ACT Broadband changed to ACT Fibernet. So I called 2 weeks after they changed the name. When I called they said that they will contact the staffs and check if it is available in my area. So I said ok and they said they will contact me in 24 hours.


I waited for 1 day and no response. I needed a decent internet speed so I called Tikona Internet. They said they will come 1 day later in the morning and install it immediately in 1hour.


So I called them and told to come the next day. But when I went to my Aunty House, (My Aunty stays in a Apartment) So there were many tenant's houses. While I was waiting for my aunty to open the door, I found a ACT Fibernet Phamplet on the next tenant house' floor. So I took it and went inside my aunty house .


the phamplet had the plan names and some information. Luckily, in the phamplet there was a person name, : Nagoor Kani(He was the Sales Executive) and there was his phone number. So I called him and asked for the connection. He asked my address and I told him. He also told me to send the address through SMS and he will confirm with one of the engineer if the connection is available in my area.


I messaged my address to him. After 15mins, he called me and told it is available in my area and said I need: Pan Card Xerox


Driving License Xerox


and Passport Sized Photo.


So I said sure and asked him to come tomorrow. He came the next day to my house and brought some registration form. My dad filled it up and gave the money for 1 year .


He gave us a engineer number and went. This Sales Executive came on Saturday and told that the connection will be installed tomorrow.( Which is Sunday.) So he gave a Engineer Number and his name: His name was Riyaz . He was a kind person and so I called him in the afternoon asking when he would come.


He said he will come today itself.( Saturday Evening) to install the ACT BOX . the Engineer himself came in the evening to come and see the place and decide where to install the ACT Box. So he told the best location to install and went . He later sent some people to install the Box. They installed the box and went. They came again on Sunday at 1pm and installed the wires in my house and set up the internet.


TADA! thats all . internet connection came!


I am very dissapointed with ACT's Customer Care as they dont forward the requests or complaints which we post to them. But since I was lucky(All Praise is to God) I got the Sales executive number in the phamplet which I found in outside my aunty's house.


This is how my internet connection came in 2days.


I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE: Nagoor Kani(Sales Executive)


and Riyaz( Engineer)


They did a EXCELLENT JOB IN helping me.


But still im dissapointed with ACT's Customer Care. They are completely useless.


I dont think the internet would have came without directly getting the Sales Executive number.

Hope ACT Looks at this post and rectify this mistake which customer care does.
