I was really skeptical about getting this connection as it is obvious that most of the people here had bad experience with ACT service. But I took the chance because the ACT's distribution point was just at the roof of my building.
Here is how it went with ACT.
Day 1 - Called the CC and registered the details
Day 2 - A sales guy came and took the amount.
Day 3 - I called the sales guy and asked whether it is possible to set up connection today itself and he replied that I might get set up today or within 3 days. Fortunately a technician came that day itself and set up the connection.
Day 4 - Received a message on my phone that documents are accepted. Later they called and verified the details. After 2 hours they called me again and gave the username/password and my connection was active!
There was no gap between any of the days mentioned above. I'm currently writing this review from my ACT BB.So far speed and ping is good. I'll keep updating about the down times, disconnections and their after sale service.
