Been using ACT broadband for 2 years now. no question about the speed and download limits they provide. Its very good. But the problem arises when you face some issue with connection or speed. I used to face connection issues once in 2 months or so initially and upon complaint, they would fix it in a day. In the last 3 months I am having connection issues every weekend (weekends is when I need internet connection at home!) and no one even turns up to check what is the problem for 3 days. Last month there was no connection for continuous 10 days!
Most technical guys who come to check the problem have inexperienced and take an entire day to fix a simple issue (last time I only fixed the problem!). There is no escalation process with their customer support, so the best you can do is call them and shout, which is of no use.
So why do I still use their connection? Well, unfortunately I live in a area which has no other connection and the only other option available is BSNL and yes, I am going to their office to check their rates. A slow connection is still better than a no connection.
I suggest you go for ACT but don't expect any customer service and be ready to live without internet for few days every month!
