I am just sharing my experience about Act internet after using it for 4 days. I been looking for good internet connection for long time, finally I decided to take ACT fiber net, after thinking for a long time.


I am feeling that have taken a right decision?.I called the ACT representative on 26th Aug 2015 and he promised me that the connection will be given within two days time period, after the request has been initiated.


As he said, the right next day, I received a call from act guys that they are at my doorstep to do the wiring, I got the confirmation from my wife once the wired till my PC room also I was informed that they provided ample wire to cover my entire house.


The same guy who did the wiring called me back and gave me a number to whom I should contact to activate the connection. I thought this is going to be a tedious job to activate the internet. However as soon as I called the number which I was asked to call, a guy from  the other end confirmed my name and he promised that he would activate the connection in 15mins time period. I received a call after 15mins as I was promised and was informed that the connection been activated and soon I will get one more call from the customer care executive to have one more final verification. Finally the connection was activated after I spoke to the customer care executive .


I wanted to verify the speed of the connection as soon as I got the connection activated response. I just triggered speed test.net and was amazed seeing the result. I exactly got 30MBPS speed as act promised, that was really an awesome result, wasn't it.  I wanted to confirm one more time to download a movie through bit torrent. You guys believe me the 900mb movie got simply downloaded with in 7mins time period with the speed of 3.4 MBPS. That was an awesome experience with ACT. You guys are rocking. I have 50 GB just for 1196Rs(including the service tax), I can download more than 40 to 50 movies each and every month, this is what I wanted for long time, finally my wish has come true?. Thanks Act for the wonderful internet connection.


I have one concern with the customer care, I feel most of them are not in a same page, each and everyone are contradicting about the plan and the usage limits. Please make them aware of the process properly, so that you can prevent them providing the wrong information to the customers. That’s the only once concern from my end. Hope you will keep your service quality on this level as always. Thanks.


I am just giving 4 out of 5, 1 is less for poor customer service .


update - Guys I just wanted to give one more update about the speed. If any service providers promise you to give 30MBPS speed means, not that you will get 30MBPS download speed. we have calculation here 30(MBPS)*1024/8 it means, I would get around 3.8 MBPS. this calculation will applicable for all the service providers. So don't expect 30MBPS download and upload speed:)
