I would like to share my experiences with ABN AMRO. This bank has been taken over by RBS(Royal Bank of Scotland) in mid 2007. That is the first ever take over of sucha giant taking over the other .
I opened a/c with ABN about 4 yrs back. I really like & enjoy a lot visiting my bank, ABN ATM's, takling to customer service(044 2821 5151), etc.
The bank staff are very much polite & answer all the queries clearly & with more patience.
Even during Sundays & National holidays they talk with their customers with out leaving their enthusiaism.
although there are very limited no of branches are available, they allow access to any ATMs free of charge. But only thing I faced problems with my Debit card is that during POS(Point of sale) purposes the debit card is not authorized to transact.
A few months before I got my card replaced from ABN indian airline to classic card. Until I was using ABN Indian airline card, not even once I went empty hand either ATM or a purchase transaction. But I after receiving my card replaced to calssic, I found 2-3 times my transactions rejected by the bank. But I comment on the ABN ATM's is that they always maintain a clean atmosephere & A/c is always On.
I really appreciate the efforts taken by the ABN team for provding a good customer service. The next I would comment about the Net banking., They provide a highly secured Net Banking & also the User ID is not visible in the screen. last but not least, USER id can be set according to the user's will, that most of the banks doesn't provide.
I'm really very happy & a very proud customer of ABN Amro Bank & wish the ABN team a whole success.
