After nice experiences from A1Books USA, I defnitely had belief in A1books, since, even though I ordered from A1Books USA, most of my books were shipped by A1Books India that too very fast. So, I wanted to give a try, like their American counterparts, it follows a bridge between sellers and buyers and of same system. But what lacks is, transparency and SERVICE. You can't contact the seller, you can't expect a reply from them, and YOU CANNOT EXPECT SHIPMENT TOO.
I ordered 2 books more than a month ago, from 2 sellers with 5 star rating. Later I found that this seller had 60 orders but shipped only 17, still got 100 performance rating. I can't understand how. Numerous mails, numerous calls went useless, no refund, no information about your order.
No information about order status. I think website is designed by a school kid, and its nice way to cheat people. The site says, shipping time is usually 5 days and delivery time is 5-14 days, but its more than 35 days, means, they have no intention to ship the book, but atleast they should cancel my order and refund my money, but nothing of such happened. So, they just cheated me. Its another big scam. I did a grave mistake by not referring mouthshut before order. I suggest you order from nbcindia.com ( same day shipping in most cases) or flipkart.com (ships 2-4 days) or infibeam (ships around 4-5 days) or even prakash books. But Never go A1Books.com. (But you can give a try if you need books after 2-3 years or so).
I WANT TO GIVE 0/5 RATING, ONLY CONTENT CAN BE RATED AS 1/5. OVERALL 0/5. BUT I CANT GIVE THAT AS SITE NEEDS ATLEAST 1 STAR.
