“A Gentleman” is an average commercial movie. Gaurav(Sidharth Malhotra) is a technocrat and works in Miyami. He has a dream that he will also has his family and children, so he does not think apart from this dreamy thought. He loves his colleague Jaqlene but she thinks that Gaurav is not the right person for her because she enjoys life and always ready to take risks in life. Gauravs`s life style is very simple and does not take any risks in life, so Jaqlene considered Gaurav as just friend only.
At the same time Rishi(Sidharth Malhotra in Double role) is engaged to steal an important document. Slowly we came to know that he works for NIA and who is upset about the mayhem of his work and now he wants to quit his work but his boss colonel(Sunil Shetty) stops him to do so. At last his boss says him to do one last job for him. Rishi agrees his boss. Colonel sends Rishi to Mumbai for his last assignment, meanwhile Gaurav also comes too Mumbai for his official work. They come across and face conflicts as always shown in typical hindi films.
“A Gentleman” is an average commercial film in which you no need to put your mind. Directos duo Krishna DK and Raj tried hard to keep hold on film but failed. Sidharth Malhotra is hard worker and justified his both character. Jaqlene worked sincerely and justified the role given to her.
Music of this film is melodious and few songs will compel you to dance but the story of the film is not effective because we have seen such stories in many bollywood films as well as regional films. In nut shell I can say that this movie failed to grip on viewers.
I can rate this film 2/5.
