After reading negative reviews from people I decide not to go watch 8 x 10 in theatre but instead watch it in pirated dvd and I really thankgod for that the movie is really boring nothing was there to offer in the movie nagesh kukunoor is a very talented director but I didnt understand his direction what he was trying to convey if u take an A list actor especially like akshay kumar u should even add three impotant pillars of indian cinema
1) romantic angle: this was completly missing from movie adding one romantic song does'nt make romantic angle better and even song was ok not that good .akshay and ayesha I was wondering what the director thinking before casting them toghter there was nothing no spark in the couple they should nt do anymore movie toghter
2) comedy if u know u r making most boring movie that only taking a star who s known for his comedy gener u should have added some comedy in the movie javed jaffery is good we have seen him doing good comedy in dhamaal director could have atleat focus to give more comedy dialouges to javed jaffery instead of making him talk plainly
3) action good but nothing great as we all know it is'nt difficult for akshay to do action scenes
Coming to plot: jai puri a man has a supernatural ablity to see the past of people by their photographs he always hesitate to use his powers he is just like any other normal person with supernatural powers who loves his family and girlfreind
the plot is pretty good but does good plot make good movie no
plot now depend on direction: nagesh had wrote a very intelligent story his story is quiet natural
but the direction spoils everything nagesh is known for his storyteller but this time nothing had come out from his movie he should have thought before making thriller people will not come to see only thriller but thoughout the whole movie his shots are really nice locations camera angles all are pretty good
PERFORMANCE: Akshay kumar over out only one expression in movie of a psycho man who could see people past nothing great
Ayesha takia pretty ok nothing great she was even missing the glamour qutiont costumes were pretty desent
Sharmilla tagore: ok . others supoorting cast anant mahadeven rushad rana were also ok director didnt take out the best from ayone of them or maybe they were all lackin because the way story was handle.
DIALOUGES: STUPID I dont know who is the dialouge writer but his dialouges are very boring for example yeh kitna crazy sound karta hai and all
screenplay worst
