Five Spice is a famous chain of restaurants in Mumbai. Amazing food at an affordable price has made it popular among the college goers and teenagers.
Over the period of time the quality of service has really deteriorated at the Malad branch. But first let me start with the perpetual and never ending wait. It doesn’t matter if you show up 10, 15, 20 minites or even half an early, you will still have to wait. On several occasions, I booked the table over the phone and they still made me wait for half an hour for a table.
Inside the restaurant, the waiters are too busy running around doing nothing. They don’t pay heed to customers frantically waving their hands. You have to actually yell over the table to get their attention.
I would suggest you to visit this restaurant only for lunch because by the end of the day they often serve stale food. Though the quantity of the food is good, the quality sucks.I don’t think I would go back to this restaurant again.
