As the FIRST thread of this topic said, it would be a really tough job to shortlist 5 books. But I will make a close attempt.

1.Harry Potter  (a MUST read for book lovers. Rowling creates a new world for you to immerse in in this series)

2.Artemis Fowl (If you're into gadgets, magic, knowledge and a child Prodigy, this series is a blend of your interests. Don't miss it for your sake)

3.Eragon  (One Boy, One Dragon and a legend. Christopher Paolini recreates the magic of Dragons and Dark creatures in this beautifully written triology)

4.Da Vinci Code (DAN BROWN is a magician! Once you pick THIS book up, brace yourself for putting it down will be a tough job to accomplish. Also read Angels and Deamons, Digital Fortress, and ofcource, Deception Point. Your IQ will shoot up by some 30 points at least, you will also be prone to heartattack by the gob smacking intrigue though!!!)

5.The Godfather  (Are you looking for a reason for THIS ONE?????

If yes, go play marbles as reading is not for you.Mario Puzo enthralls his readers with a detailed account of the Italian Mafia, Omerta and what not.You will know the true meaning of trust, betrayal, revenge and character in this book.
