Not great enough to qualify 4 movie of the decade. Review on 3 Idiots

This movie can be compared with shaktimaan serial where the viewers surrenders themselves to the stupidity which they know is unrealistic but in absence of any thing which can entertain them, they search and interpret stupidity and vulgarity into humour. The Plot of this movie is still unknown having few messages here and there like don’t memorize, don’t go for brands, don’t pressurize children, don’t choose career for your children but at the same time housebreak into anybody's house having unmarried and pregnent girls, urinate infront of your teacher's house, steal test papers, drink alcohol, break traffic rules, break aviation rules, break relationships, gatecrash in to other people’s marriage, fool people who are doing their duties, don’t give respect to your teachers, harass and cheat people etc.

On one hand ragging is shown to be unjustified but on the other hand excessive physical reciprocateness is justified. Children making small scientific devices but also are causing electric shocks. This movie is full of vulgar comedy, indecent exposure, unreal sequences, unnecessary and absurd suspense and huge contradictions. The movie makes fun of plights of middle class families, the expectations of parents, poverty and somebody who has achieved success by academic excellence. Low grades are good, high grades are bad. Girl changing her mind to marry her soul mate just like that.

I cannot recollect a single comedy scene which does not have vulgarity and to top it all they have even shown a delivery scene with an absurd kicking of the baby whenever it hears "all is well". This is surely not a movie for the kids to watch because apart from the vulgarity children might also try to invent things as shown in the movie(which is even more dangerous than watching a violent movie)

Biggest irony of this movie is that it failed to deliver the message it is giving i.e go for excellence not with the flow. The movie entertained people, the producers made money but the excellence is absent. It is like the comedy made by Raju Shruvastava which has excellence and others who use vulgarity for comedy.

As this is an Aamir Khan movie and everybody would like to watch is just for the sake of it therefore I am also giving it a YES but the movie lacks excellence and does not qualify to become the movie of the decade.
