3 Idiots a film directed by Rajkumar Hirani is a simple but a live movie that covers every phase of students life, emotions and practicality of life situation. The scene of Engineering college, the kind of pressure students has to face towards practicality of life is wonderfully crafted by the director.
The story starts with a search of Ranchu(Amir khan) by his pass out Engineering college companions Farhan(R Madhavan) and Raju Rastogi(Sharman Joshi) who want to know whereabouts of their helping friend Rancho(Aamir Khan).
As they started their trip from Delhi to Shimla to Manali to Ladakh to find their friend, accordingly the film flow forward. The initial part of the film introduced with the three idiots in an engineering college.
In the Enginnering college Rancho(Amir Khan) is different from his other colleauges and he has in own ideology and thought process who do not believe in stereo type reading of books and formulas but want to be more practical in his approcah which dealing with any subject, which invites the ire and difference of opinion with college principal(Boman Irani) who tries to plan how he can punish Ranchu and even rusticate him from the college but in the turning part of the movie he gave his best popular given by his sir to Ranchu(Amir Khan) for his practicality and intelligence and his passion for humanity by assisting in delivery of baby son of his daughter.
After finishing of final year examination, Ranchu comes with flying colour with first position and soon after he left the college without any touch with any of his class mates.
The end of the story is nicely crafted by the Director, Kareena Kapoor who was in love with Ranchu(Amir Khan) but had to marry some other man whom she donot like but in the turning of the movie she left from the place of marriage ceremony and met his solemate Ranchu(Amir Khan) with promise not to leave each other again. and affection of his daughter Pia(Kareena Kapoor). In the very first week, this film has created a niche and broke all the records of success and generated business more than 100 crore, the credit of this indeed goes to Rajkumar Hirani for his excellent direction and though process of making such wonderful films, Hirani has created a new wave among all walks of people his new doctrine of understanding the mass appeal dispensing philosophies of ‘Jaadu ki jhappi’ in Munnabhai MBBS and ‘Gandhigiri’ in Lage Raho Munnabhai, ‘Aal is well’ in 3 Idiots sets a new trends.
Amir khan has given justice to his role, significance to his acting caliber and prove why he is being known as Mr. perfectionist and I am too a great fan of him. Somewhere his acting give us remembering of Rajesh Khana of 80s.
Hirani is a modern trend setter and give us past rememberance of Hindi film Director and Jury Rishikesh Mukherjee, who was a trend setter of past for his film Anand, Khuch khata or Mitha, Angoor, Golmal, and many other popular of all time. Hirani has proved that we Indian have not westernized our culture, but other have tried us to mould with western culture.
It is quite justified that a film without violence, sex and crime can create wave amongst people and write its own success story. Being Indian we need to make films that have social and moral values and a lesson for our new generation, like our earlier films like to do.
