I guess this is the first complex from Jaipur Multiplex Entertainment. Well not a bad way of spending couple of crores or may be more.
Location: Jogeshwari-W , SV road,Mumbai(Bombay).
Not a good location for such a big and nice multiplex. Surrounded by those stinky tabelas of jogeswari and many people from minority community around, you dont feel safe, especially when coming out of a late night show. But lets not forget that we are in mumbai, the safest place in india for night hawks.
Screening:
This great multiplex has got 4 screen. Screen 1 being the biggest amongst them. And then goes smaller and smaller as you go up. I prefer movies on screen one only. Well they play popular and recent releases only on that screen. SO if you wanna catch up with some movie released couple of weeks back then you surely gonna watch it on 2,3 or 4.Let me mention before I forget, this is the only multiplex in india, that I know of, having balcony.
Seating:
Seating in the auditorium is at par with all new multiplexes.Ample seating gives you bigger chance of getting a ticket of any blockbuster opening that weekend.Upper stal would be the best place to watch any movie. For better audio experience I prefer D-H rows and preferrably roadside. Caution! dont try for balcony. They claim to be the only multiplex with balcony but what for. Uncomfortable seating, improper audio positioning. You got nice leather chairs spacious leg room. But whats the use if you have to lean forward and look below to watch movie. Just cant sit back and relax coz you will miss considerable amount of screen viewing.
Audio:
As they claim, its india's only multiplex with THX certification. Well its not the only theatre with this certification.INOX - Pune and Star City- Mumbai has the same. Remember I mentioned about screen 1, its the auditorium they got THX certified. Not the others. SO dont expect that kind of experience on other screens.If you are going for any hollywood movie then make sure you watch it on screen 1 or move to other theatre with dolby digital atleast.
Snacks & refreshment:
There is nothing to complain about them.Except for they used to be cheaper now they cost as much they do in other multplexes.
Complex & Parking:
Complex is nice to look at. Interior is rich and tasteful. Restrooms are well maintained. Entrace has nice monochromatic pictures of all time hit movies. Its a good feel to see them when you go for any movie. There is no smoking zone so you'd have to come down for a smoke during interval.
Parking is a pain during weekends. They dont have enough space for parking. So it becomes like a huge pile up during showtime in the evening and causes big traffic jam on SV road. Authority should think about it.
Buttomline its not a bad place to spend 150 rupees per movie,provided you get to watch it on screen 1 and you be there little in advance if you are driving a car.
