The last review that I wrote was in year 2010 and that too for Love Aaj Kal, it happens to be surprise that these Romantic - Comedy movies really touch me! . "Weird"
Coming to 2 STATES, I am not that big fan of Chetan Bhagat and have not read his novel on this subject, but when I watched this movie, it was really exciting. I know break down this review in two halfs:-
Pros:-
On screen story was awesome & movie had continuity. it was not waste of money & time
Songs & background music were awesome
Back ground location that they picked was minutely studied, for eg:- Delhi's Patel Nagar, Hanuman Mandir, Great grand farm house wedding.
Actors were awesome - Amrita Singh, Ronit Roy(in special Appearance), along with Shiv Kumar was a justice, Alia also contributed(in second half her transition was awesome)
I would certainly appreciate Amrita Singh for her role, she along with rest of the cast was savior Cons:-
I have read Arjun was not the first choice, it was Saif, then SRK, then Imran(who wasted his time with Matru ki bigli ka mandola) and finally Arjun. I wish Imran could have done this role. Arjun does not fit this character or may be he did not justified this character
