Its a perfect love story of a Punjabi guy & a Chennai gal who are studying at IIM Ahemedabad.The book deals with the love story first & then the difficulties they had to face to make the love story into love marriage.
Obviously in any love marriage every couple has to pass through difficulties.If it is from 2 different states or from different communities definitely there will be stiff resistance from the parents because in India our parents are eager to choose life partner for their children irrespective of the feeling of their children.Exceptions to these only proves the law.
The 269 pages novel is divided into few parts - love story/resistance from parents & how they are wining their parents - a perfect combination for another masala bollywood movie.I feel the love story portion is written unbiased & but latter parts were written keeping in view of prospective bollywood producers.Flow of the book is easy.Some minute details of corporate /Citi Bank culture is classy. Starting The finishing part - the marriage description at the end does not enthuse me much. I am not sure whether it is author's real life story or it is a marketing ploy for best seller.Overall its a good novel to pass your idle time & it gives some message to our society.
