I ordered a pair of shorts for my son because the price was too good to resist. The company was Paypal approved, so I figured I was safe. They sent a confirmation email and another one with a UPS tracking #. After 6 days I decided to check my order status. When I entered the order # at their website(hint #1~ no link from the email) there was no record of my order although(of course) there had been a Paypal payment immediately taken.
I checked the handily provided UPS tracking #. It had been issued, but UPS never picked up a package from them with this #. I emailed 123Greetings and they replied that they did not have the item and would issue a refund within 3 days.
Now I was worried and decided to check the company out on the internet(gotta close that barn door) 123 Greetings has an F from the Better Business Bureau in New York for many similar practices. They never had the item or the website would have indicated when they were sold out. Why would they generate a tracking slip for an item they were out of? Argh Thank goodness for Paypal.
I HOPE Paypal will refund my$ because I don't believe this fraudulent company will.
