I just want to let you guys know the facts about this company so that you would not be suffered like me. The story goes like this:
100bestbuy.com displays various flashy advertisements on their site about contest and prizes to be won are LG LCD TVs, Cars, Apple iPhones etc at very cheap rates(range starting from Rs 99 to 499).
I'd participated in a such a contest for LG LCD TV on 28 Dec 2011 by paying Rs 199. But neither I received any confirmation email nor the transaction is displayed in My Account. So I thought I should wait a day or 2. But nothing happened.
Then I called their customer care number 8088211777. This number is STD for me(as I'm dialing from Pune, MH). I tried at least 20 times. Every time it says that their customer care executives might be busy or I might have called on a holiday! WTF. Fortunately I was able to connect once(imagine once in 20 times), but the useless fellow on the phone was not even able to talk in English. He said that he doesn't have any details about the transaction.
I checked whit their payment gateway(CC Avenue) and got the Merchant Transaction number(through which the payment is made to 100bestbuy.com). I wrote 10-15 emails to their customer care but nobody has any idea about the transaction. Instead their customer care replied with the details about new contests!
So my advise is beware of this fake site. All the positive reviews written on mouthshut about this site are paid reviews(the reviews which mention that the customer care called them and so on). Can you believe the customer care which can not answer calls from the buyers would itself call customer? At least I would buy this thing.
One more thing: There are few reviews given on the site(of course positive). But there is no way that a buyer can post the review about them. So it proves that the reviews on their site are also fake.
The purpose of this review would be fulfilled if I'm able to save at least 10 people from falling prey to this fake site.
