As an Indian cost sensitive consumer from Bombay where liquor prices have gone sky high, I am on a hunt for most enjoyable experience at reasonably priced blended Scotch whiskeys.
For now I am comparing 100 Pipers with Black & White and Teachers Highlander placed in the same price bracket.
Hands down winner is Black & White, although 100 bucks dearer than 100 Pipers. It's smoky flavour is not matched by Teachers too.
I found Teachers smoother than 100 Pipers with similar tastes though.
Although the Pipers hits you much quicker compared to these two, that may as well be a minus.
OK. Let me confess that I am a little biased to Islay scotch and smokey flavour.
So if you have a bottle of Pipers, let it rip and have a good time.
