10, 000 BC is a decent film and that's true. Roland Emmerich is a Director known for his out-of-the box thinkin, because he left us blinking with his independence day, and the day after tomorrow.
According to me 10, 000 BC should have come a few years back when we had the ice age era. The movie had hard luck in the market. But the movie is great. For history students studying the ice age and the stone age, this movie teaches a lot about life and tolerance in the ice.
The movie is about true love and courage, where our hero goes very far away where his girl is carried away by tyrants. And the kingdom of the tyrant, the god(that's what the slaves in the tyranny believe), is awesome. The whole city is a computer generated magnifique - the mammoths used to drag huge rocks, the slaves, everything's computer graphics and the look is splendid.
Overall kids are gonna love the love story and action. The adventurous journey of the Hero is really breathtaking, and the whole scenes are shot gloriously.
Everyone just needs to see the movie once, but without great expectations and without predicting an out of the world climax. I dint like the climax at all. Its little too fast, and the movie just ends.
Enjoy 10, 000 BC.
