Total Sham!!. Review on 1-800-Flowers

It was my to-be sister-in-laws birthday in two weeks. We are in U.S and she was in India at the time so, distance became a constraint in making the day special for her. I had heard about 1-800-Flowers.com that they deliver all over the world!! So, I suggested to my brother to make the call and try it.

Order was placed and WELL YEAH!!! after charging nearly $150 for a dozen roses you bet they deliver...and beyond expectation....its not like we expected golden stems....but atleast the well bloomed roses would be good!!

Here is how it went......We had instructed them to deliver the flowers sharp at 9am well, they arrived at 3pm at her house. She had already gone to college hours ago. That evening, when my brother talked to her, she was upset with him first because she expected his call in the morning, WOMEN!!! and second, that the flowers were all dead meaning...instead of blooming roses that are symbol of happiness and beauty, they were dry and looked like has been plucked from a grave yard..(no offense to anyone).

When we called the 800 number to inquire about this, they said they placed the order thru Taj hotel in Mumbai....How fishy is that??? we paid $150 for bunch of worn out flowers that was delivered thru a five star hotel....!!

So, in the future I have learned to get a number of local florist in India and call them personally,...atleast you can gurantee delivery on time and hope flowers are still blooming..!!
