No, they did not charge me any money. They have tie-ups with banks (they got me loan through ICICI). They got me good insurance deal (through Bajaj, again they have tie up in place). So, probably they make money from these service providers e.g. banks, insurance companies, dealers etc. I am happy as... long as I got a good deal. They bargained everywhere for me. Maybe I could have bargained myself but carwale were more pro at this. And I wasn't pushed for some particular brand, they had choices in everything.
Carwale guy helped me in making my mind for the car, he helped me over phone and emails, suggested me to browse certain pages on the site, sent me discount quotes etc. The best part was coordination between dealership and me. Over a fifteen days buying duration, I had received more calls from him than anybody else. Nice chap out there.
In case you are out to buy a new car, they are worth a try. The best part is you have no committment with them. You can walk away anytime. ;-)Read More

I completely agree with you guys that mileage depends on driver mostly. I myself know quite a few bad habits that might be proving oil-drainer for me. I use clutch heavily. I am not a very old driver hence I get quite tensed in heavy traffic and end up pressing clutch more than it's required. I am w...orking on improving this area though.Read More

Manu, top mount gear is definitely a personal choice. Space; yes, it's spacious than Swift but it is no where close to Palio, the other option I had. I rated it based upon my preferences. I am not comparing it with A-Star at all. Fuel economy; I get 11 in city and it is not great by any means. Maybe... I am not a great driver but a Wagon R of my friend which I have used for months used to give me 13 plus at any point of time.
Suresh, I wish I could go into more technical details but was afraid of not able to put them right and being thrashed by others on the mistakes. I will keep updating the review as an when required.

I had used Bharatmatrimony.com for a friend recently and found it better than the top-notch site shaadi.com. They have far more number of profiles than shaadi.com. Response is good. In two months of my friend's profile, it has got three responses. We haven't paid but two of the interested people mus...t have paid and had acquired our contact number. Called us up. I found them genuine enough.

This is what I hate about MS. There are a bunch of users who act like typical forum moderators, who jump into every discussion/review, try to act smart. For the sake of increasing the show-off counters, they will assign ratings and write comments.
Rather than guiding a newcomer, they will star...t bashing him up for his mistakes. You have written reviews on MS, agreed you are a pro-writer and know how to write reviews. But people like me who have started using Internet in their mid-thirties and hardly understand Intenet, how can you think we can write a perfect review?
