can find a lot of reasons to buy a car. every buyer is different as well as evry car is. but the thing is that ver few will buy a car that suits their needs others fall for cute sales persons, magazines and advrtsment. So there are a lot of points to be considered before buying a car. Acording to me... in petrol segment honds is better than verna,fiesta,aveo but its costly and car model is 4 years old and for tat obly reason its not value for money. So about verna the main advantage is after sales service which is very good and spare parts are very cheaper but in case of performance fiesta is the leader with great handling and stability. fiesta is a drivers car. aveo has got good interiors and you will feel tat u r driving a very costly car and its very good looking too. So for a first time buyer at this time should choose verna and if u like to drive and drive then fiesta will be a better choice. So what bout diesel?? verna or fiesta?? Here again fiesta wont come cheap. it is not very cheap to maintain a ford vehicle. but to be frank this fiesta is a roaring success for ford and it had even got into honda city market and it is the only competitor for the leader city. Fiesta has got super silent engine and excellent nope brilliant diesel engine. Verna with its torque steer and unsettled rear cant cop up with stability of fiesta. And stopping distance of verna is more than fiesta mind u verna has got 4 disc brakes still it is not efficient in braking?????? verna has got lot of power but not for amatures only for professionals otherwise will end up in an accident. Here verna is compairing with laura once u drive at high speeds u can realize the big difference between both and u will endup saying verna is no where to laura octavia nd fiesta(n that segment), still aftersales is better for hyundai anyday.So i cant say that fiesta is an overall winner. but still i will go for fiesta diesel than verna diesel.Read More

Dear All, Hyundai Verna VGT had a terrible accident in cochin. Its heard that cars understeering and unsettled rear played villians here. At the time of the accident guys were doing 140km/hr(truly amazing). But it killed a lot of people. To all racy guys i got one advice to you. dont race ur vern...a in our roads our verna is not capable of handling that much figures. i brught fiesta tdci sxi which is costlier than verna. and read my reviews fully. You can verfiy my points with auto experts. ok if u think that hyundai verna vgt is great performer and handler thats it.. but it may not be appealing to me becoz my driving style is different. i cant compramise in han...dling becoz i used to travel to hillstations and even road to my estate also have a lot of bends where i felt fiesta is far far ahead than verna. pick up is not the matter. u can c that in cedias case it really win rallies not with its pickup with its handling. same thing is applicable here. for me fiesta is rock solid where 3 digits is a nightmare for me in verna. anyways u brought verna and its a nice choice. i didnt mean that verna is a poor car. its good but not appleaing to all who drive the car. and sir i had testdriven verna 3 times and more than 100 kms. which is enough to comment on verna.. :) and please do read my review regarding verna which i wrote after a disappointing experience with verna.Read More

Dont ever write a review like this. Noone will find this as useful. Hindi mein bola thoo 'Bakwaas'. Sir car is not for sleeping it is used to travel to different places. And road conditions are different from state to state. The way the car behaves is really important since diesel cars are mainly us...ed as touring machines and long journies. For that we need FE, Ride comfort, Handling, space, pick up etc etc. U never ever mentioned anything like dat other than magic and dream quite funny. Grown up yaar! analyze each and everything compare from neck to bottom. Drive around places and feel the car. OK ok will tell u Verna VGT-- good pickup, Service are plus points. Regarding negatives -- (i mean comparing it to its near competitior Fiesta) Handling, ride, unsettled rear, noisy engine after 110. Fiesta positvie -- excellent FE, great handler, ride, silent engine, good interiors, more equipped negatives-- service and not dat much pickup as Verna VGT but Fiesta is rock solid at high speeds whereas Verna not even can hold a candle near fiestaRead More

I think you have not testdriven both cars properly. Even 1500 kms in odo didnt give you enough feedbacks that is reflecting in your review. Actually both Verna VGT and Fiesta TDCI are entirely different. Actually i think its a biased review. Fiesta TDCI is a drviers car in all sense that you can ref...er in all magazines and you can defintly feel that(but you have to drive it to that extent). Verna VGT is good in pickup dat doesnt mean dat its excellent. In corners u cant compare Fiesta with Verna becoz Verna is way behind. Didnt you feel that sound and vibration at a speed above 110?? Drive fiesta TDCI at 130 u wont get any sound or vibration excellent engineering. Only thing where Verna scores is for spare parts.Fiestas spare parts wont come cheap. But if you want an excellent drivers car with excellent FE (dat all we need) there is no other choice than Fiesta. You can go to a Honda showroom and ask them about their competition they will say that they fear Fiesta TDCI not Verna. Sales Figures will tell u about the roaring success of fiesta over Verna and one more thing. Do try to explore all features ad characters of a car before rating it. I think this review is not useful in anyways.. Handling cannot be judged perfectly in highways. Its published everywhere and everyone knows that Verna is not a good handler with its torque steer and unsettled rear. This review will misjudge one who likes to drive. hyundai which is famous for its diesel engine performance failed drastically in petrol models. Y cant they outperform Honda Vtechs, Ford Fiesta 1.6 in that league. Even 100+ bhp in paper y they r not exciting to ride. We all go for petrol models for smooth efficient and lots of power engines. if mil...eage is the factor go for diesel and enjoy turbo lags and say dats refinement.. haha... baleno is always better than the new verna 1.6 n performance we all know baleno comes with an old engine hmmmm dats suzuki.. i heard that in popular rally balenos even outperformed vtechs in handling and performance.. something to notice.. ok coming back to verna if you r driving most of the time in highways and cities sorry anything will do i mean any car is fine go and search for more legrooms and more equipments... but if u r a driving enthusiast sorry verna is not the car for you becoz its handling is very vague like new honda city.. after drving verna for 100 kms on rough and tuff roads i had a feeling that it s made for madams not sirs. so if u need a good handler and lots of power to boost u should go for fiesta 1.6 or baleno...Read More

Dear nayakan, i had wrote about Verna diesel not petrol. Regarding brakes you should mention which one u r drving i mean ABS or without ABS. All automagazines and BS motoring PET test reported that Vernas braking distance is more than fiesta. Leave Honda it is not advisable to drive honda along sha...rp bends since its having a huge blind spot like innova. Vernas handling i mentioned is in sharp corners not straight roads.
