Ref Timtara Review written by me...i ordered the same camera from this website and received it on time...Sony camcorder was the order after which i gained trust in this website and ordered large amount product.. i have received sony DSC HX100V, DELL INSPIRON ENRICO, MEN'S CASIO WATCH..HARD DRIVE, SU...RGE PROTECTOR..PEN DRIVE...LOGITECH WIRELESS MOUSE...BUT STILL WAITING FOR MY ORDER OF SAMSUNG LAPTOP..I AM SO MUCH IMPRESSED BY THIS WEBSITE THAT NOW I DONT GO TO MARKET LIKE NEHRU PLACE..MAY BE THE SAME PRODUCTS ARE BIT CHEAPER IN NEHRU PLACE BUT COMFORT OF SITTING AT HOME AND NOT REQUIRED TO GO TO MARKET. sorry guys didnt update this review....as far as my product is concerned... i didnt receive sony dsc 100hxv so i ordered it from letsbuy.com and received it well in time.. but what is the good news is that they sent me a nikon d3000 dslr...for that cheers to timtara.com....dslr was not my choice but... i am happy with that now after using both a long zoom digital camera and also a dslr.. getting used to it... But i will think 100times before ordering from timtara.com and will never pay by internet banking or credit card.. it will always be COD... if you have ordered something and u dont follow up then they'll forget...so u have to remind them again and again.. i wrote many mails to them even the MD of timtara.com..i guess thats why they sent me the product.. once again i will say ....if your order is prepaid then u will definitely have a headache and lot of frustration....and always keep mailing them or calling them to know the status of the order. otherwise COD is best for them... receive the product and then only pay... hi Emptor, about the out of pocket thing, yes it affected my pocket. you might be a billionaire but I am not, I am a salaried guy and 20000/- means something for me. For some this amount might be more than one month salary. one more thing , Are you in teaching profession? I have read negative... reviews here and also on timtara facebook wall, so i am just another frustrated customer of timtara who might not be heard. But still whatever i can do, i will do. ------------------------- According to one of their customer care exec , Timtara has got its main office in NOIDA and their customer care division in Calcutta. Limited calling lines of customer care (only one number) and most of the time number is busy. I guess they have very few customer care exec because I was able to speak to them on 17 and 20 Dec and the same female operator answered my call. Somebody in the background was dictating what is to be told to the customer on phone. For example .. my order is awaiting shipment and it will be delivered to me in few days. and according to her it will be delivered by friday.Read More

hope its been delivered now, its ok till the time ordered product is delivered....frustration is when you dont knw whether you will be getting your product or your money is lost. somewhat like TIMTARA.COM. I ordered a prodcut just waiting for delivery then i will write a solid review for them
