@abdriver2000. I can understand that if that disclaimer was put on the website clearly stating that due to current market fluctuations, the cost reflected here is subject to change. However the costing they told me was 30,000 INR + !! Regards the USD amount, I do not understand why we have to pay a ...USD quotient on the tour price. I was told the RBI guidelines required to pay a certain percentage in USD. Again where is that mandated that it must be through the tour operator only and not through other legal sources. I am sure I can purchase dollars at a better rate than the one quoted and thereby save myself excess fees. @nancy2008. Thank you for your recommendations. I will look into it. I did receive a call from the SOTC representative after this review was put up to clarify what was according to them the earlier ''miscommunication''. I expressed the same thing again of all that I went through. They said they would look into it. Its quite professional of them to get back to me promptly. But also makes me wonder that they do keep a tab on all the reviews posted about them online, yet do not have the time to keep their own website updated on a daily basis in lieu of the current currency fluctuations.
