hi Krish82, i can only review a company that i've worked with, I cannot comment on a company that I've heard of. Whether its a positive one or not depends on what experience I've gathered there ... i know money is not everything but it should be either money or work or career progression but whe...n nothing turns up you cant be optimistic and i'm not a fresher , i have good amt of exp in IT field and also after infy I've worked with quite a few comp including start ups and big brands and of the lot infy was the worst, big brands have talented resources but still work in india is not that good compared to their HQ's which are based at US, startups are excellent except that u have ur job at risk . so its not out of frustration that i've said something its based on my experience and analysisRead More

Infosys was my dream company when I was in my third year and I did get thro it during campus placements, but unfortunately even before I joined Infy I was losing interest coz of its incompetent pay. I did join Infy hoping work and training would compensate for the poor pay, but that was not the c...ase. Training was awesome with excellent facilities and I didn't get out of the euphoria of my college days. But after training I did realize that work culture was not that good, work was pathetic and there were internal politics. For onsite opportunities you need to wait for three to four years and when you look back at your resume after 3 or 4 yrs there would be not much you can boast of. If onsite is your only dream then may be you can stay but in fact I would looking for either H1B(US) or Tier 1 Visas(UK) If you go by statistics none from the creamy layer prefer Infosys now and I dont think Infosys is preferred at IIT except for the consultancy wing of it. Every Infoscion knows this and I had been winging about this with my friends for almost an year during my stint at Infy. Read More
